Hi, I am a Pele. A documentary wedding photographer from Abbots Langley, Hertfordshire, Den Helder is where my mother was born in Holland, hence the company name. I work predominantly across London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Essex and the Home Counties

When photographing a wedding, I do this in a relaxed and unobtrusive way in a documentary shooting style, that tells your story as the day unfolds. I am not a wallflower photograhper that stands back with a long lens. Weddings are about the couple, the atmosphere and it’s about your family and friends. Your photographer needs to be part of it, in the mix getting the shots, interacting with the activities and being part of making your day special. Thats where I believe the natural looking images and those great moments come from.

As a published studio photographer of some years, before I added weddings to my portfolio, I have plenty of experience of making people feel relaxed in front of the camera and an eye for a shot. Although I predominantly use natural light, I am always ready, for those special moments and venues where conditions are perfect for doing something a bit special that sets your pictures apart, whether its using natural light or flash systems.

I love the mingling with the guests, grabbing great shots of the laughter, the fun and the emotion, and of course, getting into the middle of that dance floor action and getting shots of you and your guests busting some great moves!

Getting great shots in a wonderful setting, really makes the most of your big day and thats what we want. After all… you are the star attraction!

We had several meetings about how to capture our big day and he suggested a variety of angle/poses that would create a magical moment, so when the day came we knew what we were doing.
