Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Den Helder Ltd. “You” and “your” refer to the client(s) booking our services.
Your booking is confirmed once:
The booking agreement has been signed; and
The booking fee has been paid in full.
The booking fee is non-refundable and secures your wedding date exclusively.
The remaining balance is payable by the date stated on your booking confirmation. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
All payments made, including the booking fee and balance payments, are non-refundable.
If a booking is cancelled after the balance due date, the full balance remains payable as it is unlikely that we will be able to secure replacement work at short notice.
You have the right to cancel your booking within 14 days of signing the agreement, provided services have not already commenced.

Your cancellation will only be deemed effective once written confirmation has been received from us.
Should you choose to cancel your wedding photography booking after the 14-day cooling-off period:
The booking fee remains non-refundable.
Any payments already made are non-refundable.
If cancellation occurs after the balance due date, the full balance remains payable.
We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive wedding insurance to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to attend your wedding due to illness, accident, emergency, or circumstances beyond our control, we will:
Refund all monies paid; and
Make reasonable efforts to assist in finding a suitable replacement photographer.
Acceptance of this refund constitutes full settlement of any claims against Den Helder Ltd.
We will provide the photography services detailed within your booking agreement.
This typically includes:
Wedding day photography coverage
Professional image selection and editing
Delivery of final images via a private online gallery
Photography coverage is provided using our professional judgement and artistic style.
While every effort will be made to capture important moments, we cannot guarantee photographs of every individual guest, group, or moment throughout the day.
A consultation will take place before your wedding to discuss:
Timings
Locations
Family group photographs
Special requests
Key moments you would like documented
This consultation may take place via video call, telephone, email, or in person.
We cannot be held responsible for missed photographs resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client.
You agree to nominate a suitable person to assist with identifying family members and guests required for formal photographs.
Delays caused by guests, venue restrictions, schedule changes, or circumstances beyond our control may affect the number and type of photographs captured.
We recommend allowing sufficient time for couple portraits and family group photographs.
A minimum of 30 minutes should be allocated after the ceremony for essential photographs.
If delays occur outside our control which reduce available photography time, we cannot be held responsible for missed images.
Some venues, churches, registrars, and celebrants impose restrictions on photography.
You are responsible for obtaining any permissions required.
We will always comply with venue and ceremony rules and cannot be held responsible for images missed due to restrictions imposed by third parties.
We respectfully request that guests allow us to direct formal photography sessions.
Guest interference, mobile phones, tablets, or other photographers may affect image quality and our ability to capture key moments.
We cannot accept responsibility for missed images caused by guest interference.
All images are individually selected and professionally edited in keeping with the Den Helder Weddings style.
Standard editing includes:
Exposure adjustments
Colour correction
Contrast enhancement
Cropping and straightening
Basic blemish removal on selected portraits
Additional retouching may be available upon request and may incur additional charges.
RAW files will not be supplied under any circumstances.
Only edited images selected by the photographer will be delivered.
Final galleries will typically be delivered within 8 weeks of the wedding date.
All photographs remain the copyright of Den Helder Ltd.
You are granted a personal licence to:

Display your images for personal, non-commercial use
Images may not be sold, altered significantly, submitted to competitions, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Where images are shared online, credit to Den Helder Weddings is always appreciated.
By booking our services, you grant Den Helder Ltd permission to use photographs from your wedding for:
Portfolio use
Website galleries
Social media
Marketing materials
Wedding publications and blogs
This permission also extends to any second photographer or associate photographer working on our behalf.
If you require complete privacy, please discuss this with us prior to booking.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, data corruption, loss, theft, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control, liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client.
We maintain professional backup equipment and workflows to minimise risk wherever possible.
Nothing within these Terms limits liability where such limitation would be unlawful.
We shall not be liable for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
Severe illness
Accidents
Natural disasters
Government restrictions
Industrial action
Acts of God
Where services cannot be provided, our liability shall be limited to the return of monies paid.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
