Once you’ve decided I’m the right photographer for you, I’ll send over a booking proposal. To secure your wedding date, a signed agreement and a 25% booking fee are required.
Wedding photography is split into three payments:
- 25% booking fee to secure your date
- 25% due 6 months before your wedding
- Remaining balance due 30 days before your wedding
This helps spread the investment while ensuring everything is organised well before the big day.
Absolutely. Most of my couples tell me this before their wedding day. My approach is very relaxed and natural — I’ll gently guide you when needed to get those all important shots, but never over-pose or make things feel forced. The focus is always on genuine connection and real moments.
My style is a blend of documentary storytelling and refined portraiture. I quietly capture the real moments as they naturally unfold while also creating elegant, timeless portraits that feel effortless and authentic to you.
There’s a good chance I may have — particularly across Hertfordshire, Essex, London, and surrounding counties. If your venue is new to me, I’ll always research the location beforehand and arrive early to familiarise myself with the light and surroundings.
Honestly? Some of the best photographs happen in unexpected weather. Rain, wind, or dramatic skies can create beautifully atmospheric images, and I’ll always adapt calmly to whatever the day brings.
Definitely. Whether it’s an intimate celebration or a 150+ guest wedding, I keep things calm, organised, and relaxed throughout the day while still capturing every important moment naturally.
Absolutely. I regularly photograph weddings across Essex, London, Buckinghamshire, Cambridge, and throughout the UK, and I’m always happy to travel further for destination celebrations.
Yes — I’m always happy to help with timings for portraits, group photos, golden hour, and key moments throughout the day to make sure everything flows naturally without taking you away from your guests for too long.
Always. Some of the most meaningful images happen in-between the planned moments — the laughter, reactions, hugs, tears, and quiet moments you may not even notice happening at the time.
Every wedding is different, but you can typically expect between 400–800 professionally edited images depending on the coverage you’ve chosen and the flow of your day.
You’ll receive a selection of preview images within a few days of your wedding, with your full gallery delivered within 8 weeks.
Yes — every image is individually edited in my signature style with careful attention to tone, colour, lighting, and consistency. You’ll receive a polished gallery that feels timeless and cohesive.
Yes — engagement sessions are a great way for us to work together before the wedding day and help you feel more relaxed in front of the camera. They’re also perfect for save-the-dates or simply documenting this season of your life together.
Of course. Your online gallery allows you to download, share, and print your photographs easily. Fine art albums and professional prints are also available if you’d like something tangible to keep for years to come.
Yes. I carry full public liability and professional indemnity insurance for complete peace of mind.
Engagement Photoshoot

An engagement session is a relaxed photoshoot designed to celebrate this stage of your story. It’s also a brilliant opportunity to become comfortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.
Your gallery will usually be delivered within 2–3 weeks of your session.
You’ll receive a carefully edited gallery of beautiful images that tell the story of your session. The exact number varies, but most couples receive 50+ images.
Absolutely. As the owner of a giant, very spoiled German Shorthaired Pointer called Nelson, I’m always happy to include four-legged family members.
If conditions aren’t suitable, we’ll simply rearrange your session for another date. Great photographs are worth waiting for.
Of course. Engagement photographs are perfect for save-the-dates, wedding websites, guest books and framed prints.
The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral colours and timeless outfits tend to photograph beautifully, and I’m always happy to offer guidance beforehand.
