LONDON MILITARY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

A London wedding, two British Military officers tying the knot, a military guard of honour and a Ceilidh reception. What was there not to love about this day! This was one of my favourite weddings of the year. Being an ex military man myself, it was a real honour to be able to photograph Naomi and Harry and participate in the whole day. It’s a joy to see two people, so happy to be together and getting married and it made for some great wedding photography.

After a morning of bridal prep and makeup with Nichola Theobald Makeup handled by myself and 2nd photography and groom prep handled by my friend and colleague, Ash Morton, and a beautiful delivery of flowers by Blank Space Events, the ceremony was held at Christ Church, Cockfosters. Naomi was dressed in a wonderful dress from The Little Bridal Boutique and a wonderful guard of honour awaited the couple on exiting the church, which was handled by the Officer Commanding, Royal Marines and the guard made up of officers of various regiments across the British Army including the Royal Engineers, Royal Tank Regiment, Army Air Corps and Light Dragoons as well as I believe a Light Infantry Officer. So a great representation from their friends across the Royal Navy and British Army.

The reception was an elegant wedding tea, provided by Elegance China Hire and  Alternative Catering  in a set of three Tipi’s provided by Tipis4Hire in the grounds of Oak Hill College, not a mile away from the church. Come the evening, the Ceilidh, masterfully MC’ed by the Ceilidh Tree was just a delight. Everyone was involved, dancing, laughing and joining in with all the activities.
